Watercolor Wednesdays in June

Don’t you love a beautiful watercolor? The way the paints flow across the paper, giving you the full sense of how that brush has connected with the paper. This is hard to create on a piece of bisque pottery, but I know the secret. And you all are always looking for me to share my secrets, so here it is… Watercolor Wednesdays in June at 1 pm.

No class fee, I’m happy to share. If you’ve got an Art Barn membership it’s just the price of the piece of pottery. If you’re only coming for the class, it’s the normal $8 studio fee plus the price of the piece of bisque pottery you’ve chosen. If you have an idea you want to copy, all the better. Bring a print out and I’ll show you how to trace it onto your pottery with tissue paper and a sharpie (I’ll provide the tissue paper and sharpies).

Let’s watercolor. On Wednesdays. In June. At 1 pm. No reservations necessary. Here’s some ideas of what you can do…

Join me on Wednesdays in June at 1 pm and I’ll teach you how to create this lovely pattern reminiscent of the gorgeous pottery I saw on a trip to Italy!

I love this mug! It reminds me of what happens when a drip of watercolor paint hits a piece of paper. Let’s learn how to do it on pottery!

Patterns such as these take patience, as once you have sealed the bisque pottery with a base coat, you can create beautiful soft designs like this. So much fun!
